On Thursday, Ivanka Trump tried to mark International Women's Day on Twitter by writing a message about "pledging to empower women" — and people were NOT having it.
As we all know, Donald Trump's daughter pledged to make "women's empowerment" a key focus while working in her father's White House… but we have seen time and time again that is certainly not where her priorities lie.
Even though she continues to happily stand behind Trump's misogynist agenda, POTUS' senior advisor penned:

@IvankaTrump, here’s a thought:Hundreds of thousands of women #Dreamers live in limbo. Help empower them with legal status so they can reach their full economic potential and not live fearing your father’s Administration will tear them from their family & the country they love.
& yesterday I invited @IvankaTrump (for the second consecutive year) & some of her colleagues in the @WhiteHouse to join us on @msnbc for a special program celebrating #InternationalWomensDay.They were not available.
