EVANS SUES POLICE FOR ₦1B & SEEKS RELEASE OF HIS PROPERTIES



Suspected kidnapper Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike a.k.a. Evans has sued the police for ₦1 billion for the forceful seizure of his properties, Channelsreports.

Evans had previously filed a ₦300 million Fundamental Right Enforcement suit against the Inspector General of Police (IGP) alleging wrongful detention, which was dismissed.





In his new suit, he wants an apology and the “unconditional release” of his 2 landed properties in Magodo, Lagos. He also asked that ₦4 million be paid as the cost of action against the police.


He also listed several other properties of his seized by the police, including ₦50 million cash, a wrist-watch worth $170,000, a phone worth $30,000, and 5 pieces of Saphono Rucci Diamond rings worth $100,000.


There were also 3 Italian travel bags worth $55,000 dollars, 10 Spanish shoes each worth ₦2.5 million, 20 KVA inverter set worth ₦10 million and two sets of dining table worth ₦8 million.

  1. The question is, what legitimate business was he involved in, to enable him acquire such properties? If they were acquired with monies earned from illegal means, he has no case.
    He should just pray he doesn't get executed
