We all want to be a certain way, look a certain way and all these worries are particular to our physical beings. It starts with a Thought that migrates to a Plan then an Action. We say its just a little tuck then its Botox, then we go 'Under the Knife' and we can't seem to stop- the it has turned into an Addiction.
People have cosmetic surgeries for various reasons either its to change a birth defect, an accident or just want to enhance our appearance in some aspects of our body. The size or shape of the breasts, nose, lips, lines of the face even our skin colour could be changed and improved to make oneself look more attractive to others.
Making one a little more attractive is good to improve our self- esteem, but from wanting that perfect bikini body or those chiselled abs has made us go overboard. It is no secret that in the Western society, people are treated differently based on how physically attractive they are perceived to be.

This is used to express the fact that not all people have the same opinion so what one person finds beautiful or admirable may not appeal to another.

You see people who had their first surgery at an early age even before their teens, which is sad to say. You tend to wonder what kind of Perfection that child was looking for at that young age?
The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery reported an increase of 446% in cosmetic procedures since 1997 and an overall increase of 8% in 2007, with a 17% increase in men undertaking cosmetic surgery. £3,000 on calf shaping
Fat transfer to give him a “Brazillian” bum
He is reported to have recently undergone a £28,000 procedure to remove four floating ribs.

Can you imagine spending all this hard earned money on just your outer beauty? I wonder how he will look in 60 years.

I do feel we are under too much pressure to look like the images of perfect women the media bombards us with every day. Needless to say, we can change some aspects of our looks, if you are fat -Exercise don't rely on Liposuction to fix you.

It means to have self-respect, a positive self-image, and unconditional self-acceptance'. It is important to remind ourselves that no one is perfect. We all have strengths and weaknesses and we certainly possess the resources to work on improving ourselves. Each of us is unique and has specific talents and abilities to offer. In order to appreciate yourself it is up to you to discover what makes you unique.
One thing I have learnt is that people see you the way you see yourself, If you keep compliaing about your weight- your friends see you as fat. Imagine if you were an outfit confidently and you step into a building, people will stare not because of your outfit. No! but because of your carriage. They will feel your confidence oozing out your pores.
Focus more on your uniqueness and less on your outer appearance. No one will love you better than yourself. Humans have always wanted to push the limits, we should always know when to pause, stop or start again
